LINK: short links and QR codes
A long address becomes a short link that you can change at any time.
In the workspace:Sidebar → LINK
Create a short link
- 1Open LINK and create a new link.
- 2Paste the long address, e.g. your latest video.
- 3Pick a short word for the end, or let OXOM suggest one.
- 4Click “Link erstellen” (Create link). The link works right away.
Change the target
The short link stays the same, only the target changes. Handy when the link is already in a video description: you change it once in OXOM and all old links lead to the new target.
QR codes and clicks
- QR CODES: every link has a QR code, e.g. for merch or a stream overlay.
- Analytics: how often it was clicked, when and from where. No cookies.
Your own domain
Under LINK → Domain you connect your own short-link domain, e.g. yourname.link. OXOM shows you which records to set at your domain provider. You can connect several domains.
TipWithout your own domain, your links run on an OXOM short-link domain.
